Rebel's Creed

I am the fire
That wakes from the ashes
I am the light
At the end of this tunnel
I am the eyes
That see a new horizon
I am the voice
Crying in the wilderness
I am the strength
You never knew you had
I am the hero
You never knew you were

I am in this world but not of it
I am alone but not forgotten
I face the growing darkness
And lift my lamp beside the golden door
When others flee
I will fight
When others fall
I will stand
When all is crumbling
I will endure
When destiny calls
I will answer

I am the truth
Shining through the lies
I am the guardian
Of justice and liberty
I am the sword
Dividing the armies
I am the banner
Leading you to battle
I am the oracle
Icon of a new age
I am the revolution
And I will change the world

They will never silence me
For I am unstoppable
They will never silence you
For I am your voice
When you strength is waning
Hold on to me
When your faith is fading
Know that I am here
When the odds seem too great
I will fight for you
When you feel you can't go on
I will carry you

I am a rebel
This is my creed
I am living history
And I live in you
Hold your head high
You are invincible
Raise your hand to the sky
You are a firebrand
Feel me burn within you
You bear the weight of greatness
But you'll never be alone
This is our time
The eyes of the nations are on us now
Take my hand and rise
We are the revolution
And we will change the world

i really like this poem and i believe that it really doesnt matter if u put puntition in it and yes i know i spelled that word wrong and i really dont care haha im to lazy to go back and fix i will keep going muhahaha but anyway i think poetry is really all bout the words not if you put a coma here and a coma there and if you captilize things all i care bout is if sounds good and it sounds good so i give two thumbs up even tho u cant see them keep up the good work :)

Hola! So, I thought this poem definitely fit the title you chose.

My one issue with it is that is gets a little "who am I" like in a riddle. The first stanza and the last two stanzas are the best in my opinion. There were a few typo sort of errors like the "guardian" in the third stanza. Also in the third stanza I am confused about the line "sword diving the armies". Is it supposed to be dividing or something else?

Lastly, I think this poem should have just a little punctuation so that you could tell how it flows.

All in all, this was a very inspirational type of poem. Good job! :)

Flower here for a quick review. The first thing I saw was the rhyme scheme changed in the second stanza, it seemed totally different. Also it should be "when your strength is waning." Then there is also the fact that there is no punctuation, that is one thing I think it needs. Other than that I love this, keep writing.

Wow that is amazing. I really liked this. I especially liked your hidden reference to the statue of liberty. Good job. You could however, improve it by condensing, and therefore concentrating, the poem. I think that would make it better. I also liked the rhyme scheme. It maked me happy! :D good one!
